Beacon Scan serves as a diagnostic tool designed for remote users to assess the advertising characteristics of iBeacon proximity beacons and to transmit this data to a centralized support help desk for analysis.
The application performs scans for beacons within a specifically configured beacon region identified by a UUID. For each detected beacon, it records and reports the following parameters:
- Major Value
- Minor Value
- RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) Value
By default, Beacon Scan includes a single beacon region UUID to facilitate initial testing. Users have the flexibility to add additional beacon region UUIDs to accommodate various testing environments and deployment configurations.
